The Baby Studio Bedside Sleeper is both a Co-Sleeper and a Bassinet. The Co-Sleeper function allows you to have baby close by during those first few months. It has multiple height adjustmants to suit most bed heights. When no longer needed as a co-sleeper it can be used as a stand alone bassinet.
