You must not use our review feature to post: inappropriate language, information or images. BabyO reserves the right to remove reviews deemed offensive. Reviews from customers are not the opinions of BabyO or our staff. Product reviews can vary greatly and appropriate weight should be given to each review. If you have doubts or need more information, please call, email or alternatively visit our store to discuss with one of our staff.

We reserve the right to terminate your BabyO login without notice.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

If an item is out of stock, then by adding this item to your cart, you agree that your order will not be shipped until the out of stock item arrives. If you do not wish to wait then please place a separate order for out of stock items.

CREDIT CARD PURCHASES

Once goods have been delivered the transaction will be considered valid and the amount charged to your credit card valid and final. When picking up in store the credit card holder must be present to sign for goods.

Refund and Exchange Policy

Choosing baby goods can be a gruelling decision; at BabyO we will endeavour to work towards a successful resolution for both parties when issues arise.

REFUND POLICY

BabyO will not refund if you simply have changed your mind. However if an item delivered is faulty, BabyO will attempt to repair and/or replace the faulty item before offering a credit note or refund of the purchase price. Customers must produce proof of purchase when requesting a refund otherwise the decision to give you a refund, credit note, or exchange is at the discretion of BabyO. You may be entitled to a credit, exchange or refund (less postage) where goods described are: significantly different, is the incorrect item, or does not perform as advertised or where otherwise required by law. Please note: if items are faulty or damaged in any way you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery of goods.

All products have a manufactures warranty and they and BabyO reserve the right to inspect and assess any such proclaimed fault or damage and ask for proof of purchase. We may be required to send your purchased item to the manufacturer for assessment of the product in question and determine whether you are entitled to have it repaired, exchanged or refunded. This is at the manufactures discretion and not BabyO. BabyO will not refund you if the manufacturer chooses to repair or exchange the product. If the manufacturer has attempted to repair and/or exchange the product but it is still not in complete working order then you will be entitled to a refund of the full purchase price less postage.

Your warranty does not cover: misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, inappropriate use for which the item was designed for or improper care of the product. If the product in question is not covered by warranty, then you will be required to pay for the postage or freight charges incurred in returning the goods to be assessed or repaired. In addition if it is outside the warranty period, but you still wish to have it assessed or repaired additional charges may apply. We do not refund spare parts.

EXCHANGE POLICY

If you do change your mind in regards to a purchase, you may notify us within 2 weeks and as long as you have: proof of purchase, the item is in resale condition, in original packaging, tags attached and the item is unused, we will gladly offer you an exchange or credit note for the purchase price less postage (if you purchased online). If you do not have proof of purchase, BabyO at our discretion may exchange or issue a credit note if the item is in re-saleable condition as stated above. Note, we do not offer exchanges or refunds on furniture and special order items (items we do not usually carry in store or have placed the order on your behalf), sale items, spare parts, display stock or clearance lines.

CREDIT NOTES AND GIFT VOUCHERS

As of the 31st March 2018 Purchased Gift Vouchers will be valid for 3 years from date of purchase. Prior to this date all gift vouchers are strictly one year from date of purchase. Credit notes will be valid for strictly 12 months from date of return/issue.

 

 

Gift Registries

HOW DO I START

Guests can obtain a gift list as follows:

  • Online using the gift registry list search function
  • Visiting the BabyO store and asking one of our staff

AVAILABILITY OF GIFT ITEMS

BabyO cannot guarantee that all items will be available on the gift registry. In the event that an item, which has been purchased, is subject to delay or is not available, BabyO will contact you or the relevant guest who may:

  • Select an alternative gift
  • Place a customer special order for the selected item
  • Accept a full refund for that item

PRICING

Prices of goods may vary. If a customer creates a gift registry during a sale period, these prices are not fixed and will revert back to normal prices once the sale period ends.

We offer Free Gift Wrap for Registry Owners who select to "Pick up the Gifts from the store on behalf of the purchaser"

PURCHASING A GIFT IN-STORE

  • Find your gift in the relevant department in-store
  • Take your selected gift to the counter
  • Goods bought by purchaser in-store are to be taken by purchaser at the time of purchase
  • Please ensure that if you are purchasing in-store from a gift registry list, you must inform our staff at time of purchase that you would like the particular item(s) removed from the gift registry. This will ensure there will be no duplication of gifts.

Items from the Gift Registry cannot be put on hold. We will only mark as ‘purchased’ the items that have been purchased on your Gift Registry.

PURCHASING GIFTS ELSEWHERE

If an item is purchased from another store (i.e not BabyO or babyo.com.au), BabyO will not remove the item from the gift registry.

DELIVERY

The gift registry owner can request that purchased items be left in-store or sent to their own address. However, Australian law states that the item remains the property of the purchaser; and as such we will deliver items in accordance with the purchaser's request. Goods are delivered via Australia Post, Couriers Please or Aramex to the purchaser or the registry owner. Every online purchase (not picked up in store) incurs delivery and handling charges. Goods bought in store can be held by BabyO in line with the registry owners request.

GIFT REGISTRY RETURNS

All Gift Registry purchases made either via online or in-store are registered against your Gift Registry. If an item is not registered in our system, exchange, refund or credit is not available. Returns are only accepted if: the item is in original packaging, un-opened, and returned within one week after the nominated date of the baby shower, christening or similar. No refunds are available.

PRIVACY

BabyO requires that you provide your details at the time of purchase of your gift. You acknowledge that your name and items on your gift register are on a public website. Your personal information will not be given to third parties and is for the sole use of assisting in the administration of your registry and communication between the registry owner, people purchasing gifts and BabyO staff.

FAULTY or DEFECTIVE ITEM

If you wish to return an item that you believe is faulty, it may be necessary for the item to be returned to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether or not you are entitled to an exchange, refund or repair. BabyO will, at all times, honour its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. Please refer to our Refund and Exchange Policy above.

ONLINE PURCHASE END DATE

In correspondence with the registry owner we ask for an ‘event date’ to assist us with administration and making sure products arrive in a timely manner. BabyO will send a record of gifts and purchasers to the registry owner within 14 working days of the agreed event date provided we are supplied with the event date. We recommend that guests purchase gifts online at least 7 working days before the event (e.g. baby shower) to ensure the product can be delivered for the required date. We cannot guarantee the items will arrive for the scheduled event date.

DISCONTINUED ITEMS

Should any items throughout the Gift Registry period be discontinued or no longer available the item will be removed from your registry without notice.

Pricing and Shipping

All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax). Product prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers. We reserve the right to change our prices and/or withdraw from sale any item listed on our site or in store without notice.

We know setting up your nursery can be expensive and that you may find a product cheaper elsewhere, thus we have developed a Price Matching Policy to ensure we give the best possible outcome for BabyO and our customers. 

PRICE MATCHING POLICY

  1. Sales Catalogue advertising price must be current and available for us to view
  2. Items must be in stock
  3. Price Matched Items must be paid for in full at time of order
  4. Price matching can only be done prior to purchase/order. We cannot price match after a purchase/order has been made.
  5. If you wish to cancel an order/purchase it will be deemed a change of mind and a credit note (instore or online) will be issued. (This does not apply to  special orders / spare parts which cannot be cancelled once ordered).
  6. We do not match: liquidations, auctions sites and discontinued items
  7. Product in question must be identical (same make, model and colour)
  8. All price matching includes freight and delivery charges
  9. Verbal quotes are not accepted - we are happy to consider written quotes or advertised pricing only and we reserve the right to verify the quote
  10. No further loyalty discounts apply to items being price matched
  11. Product must be brand new in the box, we will not price match display or floor stock
  12. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other BabyO promotion and/or offer
  13. We will not price match online only products/ retailers
  14. We reserve the right, not to price match a product if the advertised price does not cover our cost price of the product in question. We will however try to be as competitive as possible in order to come to a fair price for both the customer and our store
  15. Price Matching is available in store only - please call us and we will gladly consider, if you live outside the area
  16. When Price Matching other retailers, they must be within a reasonable distance i.e. 15 km radius of BabyO 577 Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW

DELIVERY GUIDELINES

Orders placed with BabyO are usually dispatched within 48 hours (if in stock) or the next business day following receipt of your order confirmation. We do not have stock availability online and if you wish to confirm whether an item is in stock please email or call our store prior to purchase to avoid disappointment. It is the purchases responsibility to check stock availability prior to purchase as once order is placed we cannot cancel/ refund.

We will notify you within 48 hrs re the status of your order. If there are any delays in delivery (from what is stated on the product description) or if an item is out of stock with the distributor (excludes special order and spare parts - Goods not held in stock),  You will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to either cancel the (distributor) out of stock item and discontinued items and receive a *refund or wait for the item to return into stock *(please note if you wish to cancel/ refund please get back asap as we cannot cancel an item if it has already been dispatched from the distributor). All items in stock cannot be cancelled and will be shipped once order is confirmed.

FLAT RATE SHIPPING

  • Car Seats, Prams and oversize items are not eligible for flat rate shipping
  • An oversized item is defined as any item with combined dimensions that exceeds either a width, height or length of 80 cm
  • Regional, Rural & Remote areas may not be eligible for flat rate shipping - please see below for details.
  • Tasmania may not be eligible for flat rate shipping - we will let you know prior to shipping if an additional shipping charge will be incurred

REGIONAL RURAL AND REMOTE AREAS

An additional charge may be added to the flat rate shipping fee. Once your order is received a customer service member will contact you to advise the correct shipping fee to deliver the item to your location. The balance of the shipping fee will be payable prior to dispatching your order. You may at this time have your order cancelled and refunded if you do not wish to continue.

IN STORE PICK UP

You may collect your online purchase from our Brookvale store by prior arrangement and confirmation item is ready for collection, no delivery fee is payable. However, certain brands are not available for pick up; this will be advised to you at the time of your order. Once you are notified that your items are ready for collection you must collect them within 7 days or a holding fee of $20 per week on large bulky items and $5 of small goods per week will apply.

RETURN OF GOODS

We accept the return of goods being exchanged in accordance with our Refund and Exchange Policy. The cost of postage and shipping of products is not refundable. Goods are returned at your own cost and risk. We also reserve the right to refuse to provide you with a refund or exchange: if the product is not received in its original packaging, is damaged or is in a used condition.

DISCOUNT COUPONS

All discount coupons offered by BabyO are subject to change and expiry without notice. Items on sale will not be discounted further by coupons.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

Errors and omissions can be made to descriptions or prices, we reserve the right to cancel any order which has been processed but may have an error in pricing or description. If you find an error or omission we would welcome your feedback.

PRIVACY

BabyO is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell, swap any of your personal details with third parties. We use information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us.

BabyO uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from BabyO only last while you’re browsing our Website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.
